FAQs What kind of clientele do you specialize in? Whatever your goals, we engage our clients in collaborative, in-depth discussion to gain a clear understanding and develop tailored strategies. Many of our clients, for example, want to understand their retirement benefits as they prepare for retirement. Some seek strategies to transfer wealth to their family and/or business partners. Our goal is to help clients pursue their unique goals by making financial decisions for the long term. This can provide our clients with confidence and the time to pursue their passions. Do you have minimums? No. We believe everyone deserves great advice. That is why we offer solutions that don't require a minimum investment to work with us. How do you make your money? We are a fee-based planning firm; you pay us a flat rate fee for the recommendations/services that we offer you. Are you a Fiduciary? David A Packer carries a license called a series 66 that makes him an investment adviser. Investment Adviser (see Investment Advisers Act of 1940) means any person who, for compensation, engages in the business of advising others, either directly or indirectly or through publications or writings, as to the value of securities or as to the advisability of investing in, purchasing, or selling securities, or who, for compensation and as a part of a regular business, issues or promulgates analyses or reports concerning securities. Investment advisers are subject to the higher legal standard of care known as the fiduciary duty. Investment advisers provide ongoing advice and investment management based upon the client’s objectives. Investment advisers are monitored by either the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or state regulators. Will I work with a team of employees or will I deal with you directly? Each one of our valued clients will have David A Packer as a dedicated personal adviser to primarily work with. David may call in a specialist to help in certain cases.
